The 26th Annual Crystal Ball 2012: HEAT was held at the Metro Toronto Convention Center last night, Nov 3. Awarded the 15th Annual Canadian Special Events Star Award for the Best Produced Event in Canada, the gala successfully raised $1.2 million, which is over 60% for Reach for the Rainbow‘s annual operating budget last year. The funds support children with disabilities, give them a chance to push past barriers and to truly know what it means to belong.

Reach for the Rainbow is a non-profit organization that pioneered the integration of children and youth with disabilities into the mainstream of society through summer camp programs throughout Ontario since 1983. Their programs provide environments of inclusion for kids and youth while offering much needed respite for parents.
