Ad Ball 2016 – FFWD Advertising and Marketing Week
Every year around January, FFWD Advertising and Marketing Week hosts a week-long series of events including conferences, seminars, parties, keynote speeches and panel discussions that bring together everyone across the advertising and marketing industries, with its annual party Ad Ball being one of the most anticipated and biggest industry parties of the year.

This year’s Ad Ball, themed Boogie Down Bourbon, took place on Thursday, January 28, at the Bier Markt Esplanade.
Guests of the event were given Kijiji beads and accessories upon arrival; more mardi gras props were available at the Eyereturn Marketing photo booth, where attendees captured some of the best memories of the night.
Happy like-minded people grooved and mingled with each other while the sounds by street jazz musicians filled the air.
A poutine station and Bier Markt’s kitchen were in full operation to serve the ever-increasing number of guests who arrived throughout the night. Scrumptious bar food like chicken skewers, deep fried spring rolls, beef sliders and lobster rolls were washed down with Steam Whistle, or any other beer of the guests’ choice.
Presented by MC Kalvin Sims, the Gotstyle runway show returned for another year to dress the top industry executives to the nines. A live band took over the stage following the formalities, and the evening carried on with more partying and dancing to live music and DJ sets.
