We attended the SECOND ANNUAL CANADIAN ARTISAN TASTING FAIR (CATF) held at the Artscape Wychwood Barns. The fair allowed us to sample (and purchase) from artisan food and drink producers from across Ontario (including Niagara and Prince Edward County).

There was so much to try out from among the cheeses, meats, baked items, and beers. Some of the highlights were Fifth Town Artisan Cheese‘s delicious county maple chèvre (perfect for bagels in the morning), Upper Canada Cheese Company’s Niagara Gold 100% guernsey milk cheese, Creme Fraiche, Gunn’s Hill cheese, Best Baa Dairy’s Ramembert (sheep’s milk version of Camembert), VG Meat’s Little Vee Gees all beef snacks, Paganelli’s dry gypsy salami, Yogalicious fermented Three Berry “ice cream like” Frozen Kefir, Bloomer’s doughnut bread pudding with sauces, Thornbury Bakery’s chia bread, Dough Bakeshop’s walnut bread, Pekoe Kombucha Bar’s lemon ginger kombucha, Le Dolci’s eggnog candy cane macarons, The Healthy Butcher‘s haggis, and Sawdust City’s Red Rocket Coffee Stout beer.

Leslie Cheese Market had a vast selection of products to try, including their line of Farmer’s Pantry Dips and their various artisanal cheeses.
Granite Brewery, Barnstormer Beer, and Sawdust City Brewing Co. all had plenty of beers to try.

Other vendors included Prepd! that delivers ingredients and recipes for people to prepare their home cooked meals and FoodiePages.ca gourmet food gift boxes.

What a delicious way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
