殘編生日是十一月號,以前在國外只知道這天是要悼念陣亡軍事們的「軍人纪念日」(Remembrance Day)、又稱「國殤日」,要哀悼表示尊重,不好慶祝。

台灣這天是「光棍節」,近年來更是白話化,多了一個「單身節」的稱號,給單身族慶祝自己的理由,也創造了不少新商機。於是殘編就搭順風車,藉此理由舉辦時尚高潮1111 VIP餐酒會,其實心裡是想偷偷幫自己慶生。這次訂的包廂也是客滿,原以為是利用「單身節」的名號騙來的來賓,結果竟幾乎都是要來幫殘編慶生的,害得很久沒慶生的殘編,今年又收到鮮豔的花束、精美的生日禮物、還有美味的蛋糕,單身的殘編今年不孤單,充滿滿滿的愛,感動的都哭了。

My birthday just happens to fall on the same day as “Remembrance Day.” Growing up, I had already been used to not celebrating to mourn and show respect for the courageous veterans who had fought for us.

In recent years, 1111 (November 11th) has earned a new title called “Singles Day,” giving those who are single a reason to celebrate and creating many new business opportunities. So I also saw an opportunity to celebrate my birthday in the name of this new “holiday” and hosted yet another successful sold-out Fashion Ecstasy VIP dinner party themed “1111.” I thought guests all came together to celebrate Singles Day; turns out, most of them came for my birthday. I was showered with beautiful flowers, exquisite gifts, delectable cake, and lots of love<3. The heart-warming night brought tears to my eyes.

I turn 33 years old this year. In Chinese, the number “3 (san)” sounds like the word “刪 (shan),” which means to “delete.”

So for my double delete birthday wish, I wished for Death to cross me off and “delete” me from his list already.
“Dear Death, you’ve been chasing me for almost my whole life. Don’t you get that “I’m just not that into you?” Move on, already.

「Primo經典凱撒沙拉」/ Insalata di Cesare ( classic Primo Caesar salad)

開場的是PRIMO厲害也百吃不厭的為「Primo經典凱撒沙拉」,

大哥為咱們推入整塊Padano起士輪現場大量刨,「Grana Padano 」需要一年八個月的時間才熟成,並且只有在義大利本島製作才能被稱為「Padano」,

因此被稱為「義大利的國報起司」,也被列為米其林三星級的食材,入口即化的起司配上貴賓帶來的美酒讓現場饕客欲罷不能,這次餐廳竟也應貴賓要求大方的呈上第二盤滿滿的珍貴起司,讓咱吃得不亦樂乎。

Trattoria di Primo‘s Classic Caesar Salad” made a grand opening for our night.

Precious Grana Padano cheese is shaved live from a whole truckle of cheese wheel before us. “Grana Padano” takes about a year and 8 months to mature; cheese can only be called “Padano” when it’s produced in Italy.

For its quality, this cheese is as known as Italian’s “national treasure,” and it is also listed as a Michelin 3-star ingredient. With wine, the buttery melt-in-your-mouth cheese is irresistable. For Fashion Ecstasy‘s VIP guests, Primo restaurant generously served an extra plate for us.

蒜炒櫛瓜鮮蝦小點 / Gamberi di Verdura ( Shrimp with Vegetable)

生菜葉上擺上亮晶晶的蒜炒櫛瓜鮮蝦跟小番茄,光澤鮮豔閃亮,好拍的擺盤

A piece of lettuce is topped with shrimp fried with garlic and baby tomatoes. The presentation is colourful, bright and shiny.

  • 開心果酥炸乳酪帕克里 / Frito Paccheri di Formaggio (fried Paccheri with cheese)

帕克里是來自義大利南方的一種中空管麵,體型巨大,是殘編吃過最大的管麵。

主廚發揮創意將奶油起司餡料塞滿寬大的中空直徑再下鍋油炸,外層炸的酥脆,ㄧ切下去滿滿的乳酪餡料擠出來的一瞬間感覺竟有在看「擠痘痘」,國外現在很流行的「A S M R 」(自發性知覺高潮)影片的療癒感,整個人都酥麻起來了!

Paccheri is a type of pasta in the form of a hollow tube very large in size.

The chef fills the large hole with cream cheese as stuffing and deep-fries it into a whole new creative dish. The skin is fried to crispy. When cut, the cream cheese filling squeezes out like an ASMR (Autonomous sensory meridian response) pimple popping video, providing the same tingling sensation down your spine.

  • 北歐風蘋果燉豬肉麵包小點 / Bruschetta di Mela con Maiale (Apple Bruschetta with Pork)

麵包上搭配北歐慢燉蘋果跟燉豬肉,上面擠一層奶油起司後再鋪上薄切青蘋果的麵包小點,燉問過的蘋果是甜的,上層的新鮮青蘋果片是酸的,這道主廚可以說是巧妙的把蘋果的各種風味都帶出來了,再搭上慢燉豬肉跟奶油起司,幫這道菜增加豐富的層次感卻又不膩。

(English version / 英文版):Bruschetta is served with chopped cooked apples and stewed pork. It is topped with a layer of cream cheese and 3 thin slices of green apple. Apples are sweet when cooked, green apples are sour when fresh. This creative dish strategically brings out all the flavours of an apple. slow-cooked pork and cream cheese add layers to this dish without being too heavy.

  • 慢烤豬肉奶油蛋黃直管麵/ Bucatini alla Maiale di Carbonara ( Bucatini Carbonara style with pork)

Bucatini是一長條狀的吸管麵,用這種義大利麵條作料理的特色在於口爆醬汁的快感,殘編在這篇文章界紹過了。

Carbonara是來自義大利羅馬使用蛋、起司跟腌制肉當材料兒所煮出來的料理方式。 Primo的這道義大利麵條配上的是切丁的有嚼勁的豬肉再撒上滿滿的黑胡椒提味。Carbonara的奶油蛋黃醬已經夠濃郁了,再加上吸管面「口爆」醬汁的特色,搞到每一位貴賓吃的下巴跟殘編的中風嘴一樣,滿嘴的奶(看上面影片),讓我不再為了我的歪嘴吃相而慚愧(嘻)。

Bucatini is a long, straw-shaped pasta with a hole running through. I’ve described the mouth-explosion excitement of using this pasta in this post. Carbonara sauce is made with eggs, cheese and a meat component (usually cured or smoked). Trattoria di Primo‘s Carbonara bucatini is served with diced chewy pork. With thee already rich & creamy sauce plus the bursting characteristic of bucatini pasta, all guests were left with a “chinful” of cream, which made me feel comfortable and no longer embarrassed of my post-stroke drooping mouth.

使用披薩原型折起來做成一顆超大型的水餃披薩,麵粉使用義大利得過多重奬項同時也為米其林餐廳御用的 Mulino Marino有機石臼麵粉,這款掛「麵粉中的法拉利」之名的食材殘編這篇食記介紹過了喔!
這道比薩餃口味微蠟,內餡有牛肉臘腸、起司跟半熟蛋,層層疊的餡料疊的紮實(看影片),吃起來很有飽足感,服務人員再幫我們切的時候半熟蛋黃跟著起士「出水芙蓉」的跑出來,讓大家看得很有快感。

Pizza in its original form is folded in half and shaped into a jumbo calzone. The flour used for this dish is the multiple award-winning organic Mulino Marino flour, which is also a popular ingredient used by many Michelin star restaurants. I’ve introduced this flour in this post.
This calzone has a bit of a kick and is stuffed with layers of beef pepperoni, cheese and a soft-boiled egg. Layers of stuffing are stacked densely, giving it a robust taste. Egg yolk squirts out when cut, giving us a food orgasm.

  • 香煎犢牛肋排佐哈瓦第起司醬 / Cotoletta al Foudue (Cutlet with Fondue)

這道香煎犢牛是用未滿三個月的小乳牛的肋排作成的,上面淋上用哈瓦第起司跟蒔蘿作出來的醬,旁邊搭配跟蒔蘿香料、帕瑪火腿一起醃製出來的泡菜
年輕的「小鮮肉」果然鮮嫩,切開來是鮮美的粉紅色帶跟JUICY的肉汁,讓人食欲大開。

Ribs are made with veal ribs less than three months old, topped with a sauce made with Havarti cheese and dill, served with pickled vegetables made with cabbage also prepared with dill parma ham.
The meat cuts into a tender fresh pink and is very juicy.

主廚為不吃牛肉的來賓特地做了一道鮭魚排,上面淋上「荷蘭醬」再搭配切片的黃色和綠色的櫛瓜跟小蕃茄,肉質鮮嫩好切。

Salmon fillet is especially served for guests with dietary beef restrictions. Salmon steak is drizzled with hollandaise sauce and served with sliced yellow and green zucchini and baby tomatoes, the meat is fresh and tender.

這道是義大利經典的海鮮料理,PRIMO在這道海鮮鍋加入用杜蘭小麥粉去炸過的鱈魚,鱈魚炸的大塊,中間肉質卻卻是用湯匙就可切開的鮮嫩,其他的藥還有淡菜、蛤蠣、蝦仁、花枝等海鮮。這一鍋料超豐富,吃起來像「聚寶盆」,怎麼吃都吃不完(開玩笑的啦!咱們當然還是把它嗑光光了)

霜淇淋北海道純生乳霜淇淋 / IceCream

單純用北海道的純牛奶去做的霜淇淋,完全不添加奶油,吃起來爽口無負擔,另殘編想起冬天去北海道滑雪時在暴風雪的雪地裡為了要品嚐他們的名產應是買了一支北海道牛奶冰淇淋吃,只能說吃完了有凍死也無憾的感想。

This ice cream is made purely with Hokkaido’s milk with no added cream. It is refreshing and light and transports me back to the time I went on a snowboarding trip in Hokkaido and insisted on tasting their famous Hokkaido milk ice cream even in the middle of a snowstorm. I was left with no regrets even if I froze to death.
