FAT Launch Party @ Drake Lab & Church Aperitivo
In celebration of the upcoming annual FAT show, the FAT launched it’s opening party at Church Aperitivo yesterday after the exhibition at the Drake Lab. The Offsite exhibition showcased some of the artists’ work. Including Andrew Owen A01, Marlene Hilton Moore, and Sai Sivanesan (in collaberation with Kat Marks) and it will be held until April, 28th.
Here is a sneak peek to some of the works:
This is a piece of art work created by Andrew Owen A01 – Live Collective Photo-Cubic Portrait Tableau
Each picture was shot and printed 1:1 live, on site, without editing at last year’s FAT show. The purpose is to unravel the objectivity of the conventional singular-view photography and to express the dynamics of life.
Made to Measure 2– by Marlene Hilton Moore, is a sound installation along with the 3 imperfect-body-shaped judys, each crying out “you don’t need to point out I have not tits”, “if I wasn’t on a platter to be examined”, and “no wonder women are so stressed” – a true voice from women in the ages of 20-30.
