Harry Rosen on Bloor Street launched its BOSS Shop Opening in style. It was a social gala featuring music, hors d’oeuvres and spirits. The evening was hosted by Glen Baxter, journalist, host of CTV’s In Fashion, and a reporter for Fashion TV channel. In attendance, was Larry Rosen, CEO and Chairman of Harry Rosen Inc., and Lanita Layton, CEO of Hugo Boss Canada. The main feature of the night was an open chat session with Alex Thomson, the skipper of the Hugo Boss yacht. Alex discussed the filming of his famous mast walk; if you have not seen it before make sure you check it out on YouTube. Alex described the pure exhilaration of running across the mast in two minutes or less, while in a Hugo Boss suit. The yacht was tilted on its side, and then without hesitation, jumping into the ocean. Pure exhilaration indeed!
