PINOT, PINOT, PINOT! If you love wine like we do, join the iYellow wine school like we did! Last Monday, we attended iYellow Wine school’s PINOT, PINOT, PINOT class hosted by iYellow Wine Club at the Ritz Carlton where we learned all about Pinot noir.

iYellow Wine School Pinot, Pinot, Pinot

Pinot noir is the hardest grape to grow. It requires special attention and if not grown in the right season or picked at the right time it can easily rot. It is therefore known as the “heartbreak grape”.

During the session we sampled 6 of those “heartbreakers”, from the young pinots with ruby red in colour and berry scents, to the garnet, earthy ones. The pinots were paired with a selection of fine cheeses from the Ritz including a soeur angèle, an allegretto, a truffle pecorino, and an époisses.iYellow Wine School Pinot, Pinot, Pinot

It was a great night and a great way to learn about wine & meet fellow wine lovers! If you are a wine lover too, iYellow Wine Club offers different wine classes every week to train you into becoming a wine snob!
