Meet hairstylist Steve Roy
during fashion week I had the chance to visit whom I call a celebrity hairstylist, Steve Roy, at Solo Bace for a hair makeover. At the door I was welcomed by Steve’s warm hug and the staff offering cappuccino along with a piece of mint chocolate. Then they took me to the shampoo station to enjoy a nice head spa.

This was my first haircut in 3 months. I told Steve I didn’t know what to do with my hair except that I wanted to keep the length. Inspiration hit him in a split second and he knew what to do with me. This is what I call a real stylist.

Having working in the industry for over 25 years, Steve knows what he’s doing. He had styled 3 years for Lucian Matis’ Fashion shows and for Chanel back in the 90’s. I could tell that his skills came from the school of hard knocks as soon as he shared his stories with me.
It was amazing how much body he added to my hair without changing the length. Within 30 minutes of magic he turned me from frumpy to glam!

Steve also does make up too. I highly recommend booking him for your next red carpet event and let him work his magic on you 😉

Steve works at Solo Bace located at 860 Yonge Street, right on the corner of Yonge and Yorkville.
