To celebrate one year in business, Michael’s on Simcoe threw a media party serving Moet champagne paired with some of their grade A food from the menu such as fresh tuna tartar, grilled octopus and oysters on the half shell.
A list of refreshing cocktails was also available. Our favourite was the Rosemary Pimm’s Cup with fresh chopped fruits and lemon juice topped with soda and garnished with a sprig of rosemary.
Having trained in Milan and Genova, head chef Derek von Raesfeld sources fresh, local ingredients to provide guests a better and upscale dining experience. Guests may enjoy an array of USDA prime steaks custom cut to order, luxurious seafood and hand –crafted pasta cooked to perfection.
Other than food, the interior was modern and elegant with eye-catching decor and pop-art, courtesy of Yorkville Design.
