Canadian Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association’s Mirror Ball 2014

CANADIAN COSMETIC, TOILETRY AND FRAGRANCE ASSOCIATION (CCTFA) Foundation  hosted it’s annual fundraiser Mirror Ball at Toronto’s Liberty Grand. The gala’s proceeds benefit two special programs to help women with cancer.

LOOK GOOD FEEL BETTER creates a two hour workshop for women with cancer to regain their confidence and provides makeup and skincare products to take home.
FACINGCANCER.CA is an online support community for women to share their experiences and connect with each other.
Both programs fill an important need for women undergoing cancer treatment and recovery.

CCTFA members Shoppers Drug Mart, Estee Lauder, Coty, Quadrant Cosmetics, Sephora, Johnson & Johnson, and Hudson’s Bay were among the companies that sponsored Mirror Ball 2014.

The cocktail reception was sponsored by McCarthy Tetrault and included a silent auction featuring fine wines, assorted gift packages, and unique experiences.
Hudson’s Bay balloon burst had one hundred dollar balloons, each containing a surprise gift.
Hello Magazine held a photo booth and Heineken hosted their own booth as well.

Some of the special guests attending included Platinum Blonde, who were headlining the after party, and singer Jully Black.

Delicious appetizers passed around the room included lobster spring rolls, chicken skewers, spicy chicken tacos, pork and grilled cheese mini sandwiches, tuna tartare in a cone, veal and horseradish on a crostini and breaded mushroom in an aioli sauce.

The cocktail reception was followed by a seated dinner and an after party where guests danced the night away.
