記得殘編小學的期末成績單老師評語經常寫出「不修邊幅」四字，然而，在國外長大的我，對中文懵懵懂懂，自以為「成語」的評語一定是很利害的稱讚，被媽媽罵後才知道「成語」不見得是正面的。等到13歲自己搬出去住之後，才自覺形容我「不修邊幅」已是客氣話。要進我家要先學會輕功。我自稱「亂中有序」，我只有「亂」，沒的「髒」。我甚至患有嚴重潔癖症，外出服絕對不准沾到我的床鋪上、頭髮再長也要天天洗，襪子套過腳，即便是幾秒絕不再回穿，於是我偏愛住奢華五星級飯店。曾經疼過我的爸爸也借此理由誠諾要帶我走天涯帶我住遍全球奢華飯店，從此扎下了我想環遊世界的夢想。也因爲住慣了五星級飯店，僅管走過45個國家，卻從未投宿過「青年旅舍」。

I’m kind of a clean freak when it comes to hotels, hence, I never knew the term “hostel” before my Euro trip. Eww, I don’t even share my fries, what makes you think I’d share a potty with strangers? I went on my Eurotrip with a group of close friends; hence, we had the chance to book a full hostel room to ourselves. So, it was borderline-acceptable. At least I trust the people I was sharing with.

• 通常來說，背包客喜愛投宿青年旅社不只在於價錢親民，也因為比較好認

識從世界各地來趣味相投，荷包也一樣薄的旅客、結交新朋友。今年我一直在超越自己，我打破了不敢自己去餐廳吃飯的障礙，也第一次在時尚高潮Y T影片上露臉，這幾天，我又跨越了另一個一個心理障礙：這次放自己假時我第一次獨自投宿青年旅舍！雖然去住西門町的I Play Inn愛玩客算是有一點作弊，因為愛玩客的房型有私人的房型，所以至少廁所可以不共用，也不怕早上屁屁有「烏龜頭」卻還要剪刀腳排隊等廁所的煩惱。這對我來說已經是很大的進步了，所以請給我來一點掌聲，謝謝。

Usually, backpackers opt for hostels when travelling, not just for the budget, but because the environment makes it easier to meet travellers across the world and make new like-minded (with a similar budget) friends.
My New Year’s resolution this year is to overcome my fears. And surprisingly, I’ve achieved a lot. I dined out alone at a restaurant for the first time, I finally showed my face in one of my YouTube videos, and for my staycation, I’ve booked a hostel for the first time at I Play Inn in Ximen, Taipei. Well, technically, it was a bit of a cheat because they have private rooms and suites with private bathrooms. Hear me out before you judge though: if I’m on my staycation, I am here to relax and distress, I don’t want to suffer from a “turtle head” situation back there with my legs crossed while lining up for the washroom in the morning. I’m sure you all feel me, so baby steps. May I still get a round of applause? Thank you.

I Play Inn愛玩客距離捷運西門站６號出口步行約５分鐘、台北車站車程約１０分鐘，旅舍雖然位於大樓的12樓，下樓踏出大門便是熱鬧的西門町商圈，並有兩家便利商店，無論是購買生活用品、享受美食、逛街購物、觀光景點都非常方便。

Located at just a 5- minute walk from MRT Ximen Station, I Play Inn is right in the center of the hustling and bustling hip area. Although check-in is located on the 12th floor, stepping out of the first floor is right in the centre of the lively Ximending business district. There are two convenience stores just around the corner, and the street is lined with restaurants, shops, and everything you need if you’re short on daily necessities for your trip.

愛玩客總共占涼城老公3層樓， 12樓一出電梯邊是大廳跟入宿登記櫃檯。大廳有一張大型木桌，有插座及WiFi可電腦作業，住宿附贈的早餐以及24小時飲水機的自助吧台也是在此供應。餐具、杯子都是自取，使用完自己洗好歸位，很自由。大廳有一個附一個座位的陽台，如果夠幸運，早上可以邊享受陽光與咖啡。走進客房區12樓皆為共室的女生宿舍、11樓為男生宿舍跟單人套房，13樓責是私人的雙人套房跟一間四人套房。

I Play Inn occupies 3 floors of the building. Check-in is located on the 12th floor, next to a lounge equipped with a large table where free breakfast takes place with charging outlets and free WiFi if you need to work remotely. Next to the table is a 24 – hour self-serve bar with drinking water. Everything is self-service based, guests wash their own dishes after use. There’s a balcony with a single-seat table; if you are lucky, you might be able to get some sun with your morning coffee. Rooms on the 12th floor are all shared female dormitories; male shared rooms are on the 11th floor, and the 13th floor is for all private rooms plus a 4-person suite.

殘編住的是13樓的私人雙人套房，附有2瓶礦泉水、2個馬克杯、茶包及咖啡包跟很重要的燒開水壺跟兩雙拖鞋。浴室盥洗用具齊全，沐浴乳跟洗髮精也是按壓式的，不會遇到像殘編上次洗到一半光屁屁出去再要一份ㄧ樣的尷尬場面。雖然房間大小ㄧ人住比較舒適，但是環境打掃的非常乾淨，超乎一般「青年旅舍」的水準，睡的香也拉的爽。

I booked a standard double room for 2, which is located on the 13th floor. The room is equipped with 2 bottled water, 2 mugs, tea bags and a coffee bag. There’s also an oh-so-important kettle and two pairs of paper slippers. The bathroom is prepared with enough toiletries; shampoo and body wash are filled in the wall-mounted dispenser to avoid situations of running out butt naked for an extra pack of shampoo like me last time. Although the size of the room is more comfortable for one, turndown service exceeds the standard of a hostel to make sure you have a good-night sleep and worry-free morning dump.

旅館有提供機場接送與包車的服務，接機4人座為一趟$1200 ，送機擇定是一趟$1000（4人座）。

包車一日遊8小時只要台幣$3500，非常適合觀光客使用。
雖說餐飲區服務都是自助式的，，但服務人員還是一樣熱心，有叫外送的服務會幫旅客送到房門，腦殘的殘編check out時竟忘記帶重要物品 （好啦！其實是整個行李），服務人員也熱心的成功在我還沒離開前追蹤到我把物品歸還給我。

The hostel provides airport shuttle service and charter service. Airport pick-up service for 4 is $ 1200 NT, whereas airport drop-off for 4 is $ 1000NT.
An 8-hour chartered day tour costs only $ 3500 NT, which is a steal for tourists travelling in groups.

Although most of the hostel is self-service based, the staff is more than friendly and happy to attend to your needs. They bring your delivery to your room. They even managed to track me down when I forgot to bring my personal belongings (fine, it was my whole suitcase, blame it on my brain defects).
