On Friday, August 9th, 2019, Fashion Ecstasy had the pleasure to attend a girls night out party sponsored by Tequila Rose ( #TRGirlsnightout )The party was held inside the Love Child Social House and had all of the elements of a worthwhile girls night fest: great food, cocktails, great music, a selection of fun games, and makeovers. All of the food, desserts, and cocktails featured Tequila Rose as the main ingredient.

Upon entry into the Love Child Social House, the venue was transformed into a super girly playland full of pink balloons, a pink rose photo wall, and centerpieces made of roses and empty Tequila Rose bottles. The DJ (Backup DJ) played a great mix of the nineties/early 2000s hip/hop and R&B that brought an element of nostalgia

Two hairstylists from Vent Blow Dry Bar and only one makeup artist from Verve (a new beauty bar).set up their stations in the far end of the venue. The hairstylists spent the entire night giving the guests various styles of braids, such as fishtail braids and waterfall braids.

A massive lineup for both hairstylists and the lone makeup artist sprawled down the steps and almost hit the dance floor, which made some wonder why there weren’t more makeup artists and at least one more hairstylist present that night. A Plinko-style game was a hit as every play ensured that guests walk away with a prize, some of which were t-shirts, mini bottles of Tequila Rose, and gift bags.

The real highlight was the food and cocktails. The Layered Bake Shop provided all sorts of pink bite-sized gluten-free desserts that delighted the guests.

There was also a selection of ice cream lollipops with Tequila Rose as the base ingredient and came in three different flavours: Strawberry Peach, Strawberry Mango, and Strawberry Cheesecake. The ice cream lollipops were actually quite refreshing and quickly disappeared by the end of the night. And no girls night party would be complete without tasty fruity cocktails. Out of the three cocktails that were served that night, the Summer Sol cocktail was the best tasting. This simple mixed drink of Tequila Rose and cranberry juice tasted like a Pot of Gold chocolate treat. The rest of the night concluded with more dancing and mingling.
