TOMS x Little Burgundy Giving Campaign – Buy one, give one
TOMS footwear and Little Burgundy have teamed up for the TOMS Giving campaign to show how buying one pair of TOMS shoes can make a huge difference in the world.
TOMS is the first company that started the “One for One” business model. For every pair of TOMS shoes (and the eyewear and bags) purchased, one is also donated to children in need in the developing countries, creating both social and commercial value.
The results from TOMS work have been phenomenal. Over two million children have been safe from hookworm because of wearing TOMS shoes and receiving medication provided by one of the Giving partners. In Liberia, one thousand primary students were able to enroll because they now had TOMS shoes to wear. And these are only a couple of the many success stories.

At the Discover Giving Tour event hosted at Little Burgundy, we had the chance to view TOMS Spring/Summer 2016 collection and learn about the recent distribution of the shoes in Peru. The Giving trip was put together with TOMS Giving partner, Coprodeli Peru, a non-profit organization that works with the poorest in Peru to make a difference in the world.
Using the virtual reality viewer, we went on a virtual tour to Peru and experienced the Giving trip ourselves. We witnessed real joy in the children’s faces when they received their new shoes. It was truly heartwarming.
Over the past ten years, TOMS has given over fifty million new pairs of shoes to children living in poverty. And that is something to be truly proud of.
