Veuve Clicquot “Yelloweek 2017

Veuve Clicquot’s “Yelloweek 2017” launched in Toronto at the Berkley Field House in Toronto from Monday, May 1, 2017 to May 7, 2017. The theme for this year’s festival which celebrates one of the leading brands of champagne was “Carnaval Clicquot”.


Yelloweek is inspired by the founder of Veuve Clicquot, Barbe-Nicole Clicquot Ponsardin, who in 1805 became a widow (La Veuve) at 27 years old and took over her husband’s estate to create this successful luxury champagne brand.

Yelloweek ran simultaneously in Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, and Saskatchewan.

To celebrate the week-long event, The Berkley Field House decorated its venue with large balloons in Veuve Clicquot‘s signature yellow as well as pink. Trays of Veuve Clicquot in their signature yellow glasses were passed around the room along all night long with an assortment of scrumptious hors d’oeuvres you would find at a carnival: fish and chips, sliders, and French fries. Women in fantastical costumes of butterflies and entertainers reminiscent of Cirque de Soleil weaved amongst the guests. Caribana type dancers in brightly coloured feathered outfits were everywhere. Every day this week, at a different venue, Veuve Clicquot i be sold by the glass: “Yellow by the Glass.” Restaurant partners in Toronto included Aria, Baro, Brassai, Carisma and Hy’s. “Yellow Table” which features an exquisite series of champagne pairing dinners, matching the best of food to the best of Veuve Clicquot was available during Yelloweek 2017 at Woods and other restaurant.
