2014 Save A Child’s Heart UnGala

Save A Child’s Heart UnGala Raising Over $700,000 for SACH!

Save a Child’s Heart Foundation, founded in Toronto in 1999 by the late A. Ephraim “Eph” Diamond, saves children’s lives.

These children, with congenital or acquired heart defects, come from developing countries where they have almost no chance of surviving.

Save a Child’s Heart (SACH) brings these children to the pediatric cardiac surgical unit at the Wolfson Medical Center in Holon, Israel for surgery where more than 3,400 have been saved. Because no matter where the child is from, Palestine, Nigeria or Ethiopia, a child is a child!

2014 Save A Child's Heart UnGalaTorontonians came together at The Citizen on September 16, 2014 for the Un-Gala in support of this worthy cause.

Guests listened and danced to live musical entertainment such as a cappella group “Countermeasure”, while enjoying elevated comport food: butternut squash soup, chicken and beef sliders, grilled cheese, and beef skewers.

Dessert squares donated by Pusateri’s included a fantastic cheesecake.

The well attended event, sponsored by Southbridge Healthcare Fund and Partners Camille Dan and Yorkville Asset Management, raised over $700,000 for SACH!
