Inside Out Toronto LGBT Film Festival Opening Night Gala 2015
Inside Out‘s Toronto LGBT Film Festival 2015 held its opening gala after party at TIFF Bell Lightbox‘s Malaparte, and it was a fun and boisterous event.
The party celebrated the premiere of the film, “Grandma“, directed by Paul Weitz (About a Boy, American Pie).
Grandma tells the story about an acerbic writer trying to mend the emotional holes in her frayed family.
Elle, a once successful poet but now flat broke, breaks up with his younger girlfriend when her granddaughter shows up in need of financial help.
Guests of the after party experienced a sexy theatrical dance performance by Storefront Theatre, projections by Roxanne Luchak, DJ sets from both filmmaker Bruce LaBruce, and JD Samson (of Le Tigre and the band MEN) in addition to delicious appetizers from O & B.
The crowd continued dancing away until 2 am.
Inside Out‘s Toronto LGBT Film Festival runs from May 21- 31 2015.
