Gambero Rosso International’s Tre Bicchieri Toronto 2025: A Celebration of Italian Wine Excellence
The Gambero Rosso International’s Tre Bicchieri Italian Wine Event, an exclusive and spectacular affair, was a rare privilege for those who appreciate the finest wines. Held at Toronto’s Liberty Grand on May 12th, this prestigious gathering brought together a select group of Italy’s finest winemakers, showcasing an extraordinary selection of wines awarded the coveted Tre Bicchieri (Three Glasses).
Sophistication and a passion for Italian viticulture immersed guests from the moment they stepped into the venue. The event included a walk-around tasting, enabling guests to wander through an array of award-winning wines from various regions such as Abruzzo. From bubbles to whites, roses, and reds, every sip was a taste of Italy’s glorious winemaking history. The opportunity to speak to the winemakers and distributors about their offerings and then sample them was a unique and highly educational experience, perfect for those eager to deepen their knowledge of Italian wines.
A few of our favourites were: Masciarelli Trebbiano d’Abruzzo (Abruzzo),
Castello di Semivicoli 2022, Ciavolich Ige Terre d’Abruzzo and Pecorino Aries 2024.
