TAG HEUER Opens First Standalone Boutique in Canada at Yorkdale Shopping Mall / 奢華名牌手錶泰格豪雅（TAG HEUER）在多倫多約克戴爾（Yorkdale) 購物中心開幕

TAG HEUER, world-renowned luxury watch brand, opened its first Canadian boutique in Yorkdale Shopping Centre on Thursday, November 14th, 2019. Although TAG HEUER watches have been sold in Canada for decades via multi-brand retailers, the opening of this particular store marks a new chapter in the Swiss watch manufacturer’s illustrious history.

享譽全球的奢華名牌手錶泰格豪雅（TAG HEUER）於2019年11月14日（星期四）在多倫多約克戴爾（ Yorkdale) 購物中心開設了加拿大第一家精品店。TAG HEUER手錶在加拿大雖已透過零售商銷售了數十年，但這次專賣店開幕卻為此瑞士鐘錶製造商開啟輝煌歷史的新篇章。
- The opening of this store also comes at a time when many luxury brand
watches have started to jump on the trend of opening corporately-owned standalone units in Canada.
Since its expansion in 2016, Yorkdale Shopping Centre has been attracting many upscale brands to its location. Some of these brands include Piaget, Breitling, and Hublot (estimated opening date between late 2019 and 2020); what better way to celebrate this new beginning than with a glamorous cocktail reception inside the boutique!

- There was a massive turnout of influencers and luxury watch enthusiasts.
Benjamin Beaufils, the recently appointed president of TAG HEUER North America, was in attendance at the opening reception. The event attracted so many guests to the point where it was difficult to move comfortably in the 740 square feet boutique.

受邀嘉賓包括政商名流、極具影響力的上流社會人士及名牌手錶收藏家。 TAG HEUER（泰格豪雅）新任命的北美區總裁Benjamin Beaufils當晚也親自出席了宴會。貴賓人數竟然佔滿740平方英尺的精品店，證明了該品牌的可觀人氣。
- Toben Food by Design provided the catering for the event and served
some very upscale canapés along with glasses of champagne and scotch whiskey.
Outside of the boutique was a TAG HEUER IndyCar that gave guests and curious shoppers plenty of photo opportunities with their cellphones or with noted photographer George Pimentel. The car installation served as a reminder of the brand’s long history of sponsoring various Formula 1 championships, Olympic summer games, skiing world championships, and European soccer teams. In fact, four of the TAG HEUER’s in-store collections were named after famous racing drivers and motorsport championships: Carrera, Monaco, Fangio Limited Edition, and Formula 1.

- Speaking of the collections, guests got the opportunity to try on the
watches during the reception. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, super friendly, and incredibly engaging. They made sure each guest who expressed interest in the watches had the chance to check out the merchandise up close and made each one feel comfortable in answering all of their questions. The price point for these watches can reach up to $32,000 depending on the models, design, and materials used. Many of TAG HEUER’s watches are chronographs, scratch-resistant, and water-resistant. They are highly desirable for those who value innovative watches with high-quality materials, precision timekeeping, and worldwide brand recognition.
