JUSTICE Professional Haircare Trial and Product Review
Back in April, I was graciously invited to the launch party for JUSTICE Professional Haircare to celebrate their official big break into the Canadian retail market. In my review, I raved about the different products that the styling team used in my hair—particularly their Smooth and Groom Wearable Treatment and Heat Protect Protein+ Spray.

Hair Washing Day: Putting JUSTICE in the Game
When I describe my extensive hair washing game to others, their eyes bulge out in disbelief over how one head of hair requires that much care. Yes, haircare is serious business.
For this hair washing day, I swapped out some of my go-to products for the JUSTICE Professional Haircare. These new products were up against my dry, frizzy hair, weighed down by greasy product buildup.
Here’s how Team JUSTICE Professional Haircare products performed in my hair in comparison to my usual products:
- Smooth and Groom Premium Shampoo (substituting for Shea Moisture Low Porosity Shampoo)
In the shampoo match-up, SheaMoisture’s Low Porosity Protein-Free Shampoo played its role as a reliable defender—great at clearing buildup and keeping protein in check, though it sometimes left my strands feeling a bit dry. JUSTICE’s Smooth and Groom Premium Shampoo, on the other hand, came in strong with hydrolyzed keratin and hydrolyzed collagen, delivering shine, softness, and frizz control without weighing my hair down. The shampoo‘s creamy, conditioner consistency felt luxurious and provided excellent slip, where I was able to work the shampoo down to the roots without interference. I didn’t mind the addition of the hydrolyzed keratin to my heat-styled hair. Responded well to the formula. In the end, my hair had a soft and shiny finish, and my coils were popping. It was a close call, but Justice’s Smooth and Groom Premium Shampoo won this round.
Score Update: Team JUSTICE leads 1–0. - 10 Second Hair Miracle Treatment
Usually, I don’t have much luck with hair rinses. Most hair rinses on the market tend to be too watery, fail to produce a rich lather, and leave my hair feeling like straw. JUSTICE’s 10 Second Hair Miracle Treatment knocked all of those other rinses out of the competition. The consistency is slightly thicker than its competitors, which is great as it allows me to work the treatment into my hair without it dripping down my face or neck. Following a quick rinse, the remaining frizz was benched, and the shine was brighter than a scoreboard. A flawless performance from the 10 Second Hair Miracle Treatment! No wonder this hair treatment is a best seller.
Score Update: Team JUSTICE leads 2–0. - Smooth and Groom Deep Conditioner (substituting for BondiBoost Anti-Frizz Hair Mask)
In the deep conditioning round, JUSTICE Smooth & Groom Deep Conditioner offered a solid slip and a decent amount of hydration to my hair. On the other hand, BondiBoost Anti-Frizz Mask delivered more moisture and hydration to my hair. Packed with oils (e.g., avocado oil), hyaluronic acid, and squalane, it delivered deep moisture and serious frizz control. Heavier than JUSTICE, yes, but my heat-styled hair needs extra defence against dryness and humidity. BondiBoost is the player I want to guard my hair against the humid Toronto summers. Both conditioners are of excellent quality. JUSTICE wins on consistency and lightness, however, I’ll stick to BondiBoost, as my hair washing routine frequently calls for heavy hydration.
Score Update: One of my go-to products is finally on the board, but Team JUSTICE maintains its lead, 2-1. - Smooth and Groom Wearable Treatment (substituting for Tresemmé One Step Smooth 5-in-1 Hair Styling Cream)
In this heat styling showdown, JUSTICE’s Smooth & Groom Wearable Treatment played like a finesse specialist—lightweight, protective, sleek, and nourishing without leaving sticky buildup. When paired with the JUSTICE Heat Protect Protein+ Spray, it formed a dynamic duo that left my strands silky and resilient. Frizz, stiffness, and breakage never even made it past the first round with my blow-drying brush. Versatile enough for daily styling on wet or dry hair, this treatment has definitely earned its place in my wash day lineup. Meanwhile, Tresemmé’s One Step Smooth 5-in-1 Cream deserves credit for being a reliable utility heat protectant: versatile, affordable, and effective. But when it came down to performance, JUSTICE simply outplayed it, delivering the kind of salon-quality finish that puts points on the board every time.
Score Update: Team JUSTICE won this round, 3-1. - Smooth and Groom Endz Serum
After flat-ironing my hair, I brought in the Smooth & Groom Endz Serum as the closer—a nickel-sized amount to seal in moisture, tame frizz, and add shine. While it delivered a nice, polished finish, it didn’t bring anything new or improved to my hair washing game.
Score Update: No points rewarded. Team JUSTICE remains in the lead, 3-1. - JUSTICE Beautiful Hair Essentials Comb (substituting for Tangle Teezer hair brush)
A detangling tool is always an essential player, and the JUSTICE Beautiful Hair Essentials comb turned out to be a wash day surprise for me. Crafted from high-quality acetate, it felt sturdy in my hand and slid through my coils with minimal tugging, knots, and breakage. Additional points for being easy to clean and disinfect—something every haircare enthusiast can appreciate. While my Tangle Teezer hair brush still shines for its speed and efficiency, this match ended in a tie—two strong detanglers bringing different strengths to the game. Both are haircare MVPs in their own right, so both brands receive one point.
Final Scoreboard: Team JUSTICE wins Hair Washing Day, 4–2.
Final Score and Final Thoughts
JUSTICE Professional Haircare won Hair Washing Day for me. At the end of the day, all that matters is that my hair looked and felt fabulous, strong, clean, and healthy.
Here are the Hair Washing Day‘s MVPs, All-Stars, and Benchwarmers:
- MVPs: 10 Second Hair Miracle; Smooth & Groom Wearable Treatment; and the Smooth & Groom Premium Shampoo—game-changers for shine, smoothness, hydration, and frizz control.
- All-Star: JUSTICE Beautiful Hair Essentials Comb—a solid, sturdy, and reliable addition to my haircare team.
- Benchwarmer: Smooth & Groom Deep Conditioner and Smooth & Groom Endz Serum—both did their jobs but didn’t steal the spotlight.
JUSTICE Professional Haircare came to Canada ready to play and dominate, proving their products can score big with every hair type.
