On Wednesday, September 4th, 2024, GLO Communications hosted its 14th Annual Bask-It Style Media Day inside the Manitoba Room in the iconic Fairmont Royal York Hotel.
Bask-It Style is an annual, one-day event where accredited media, influencers, and tastemakers are invited to a gifting lounge—by appointment only—and are pampered with products and services necessary to survive the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Past celebrities include Rachel McAdams, Hugh Jackman, and Helen Mirren.
Visiting celebrities will receive products in totes designed by Bag & Bougie. Here are some brands that presented at this year’s media day:

Peak Human Labs stole the show with their biohacking technologies. Guests enjoyed treatments like Drip Trip and EmSculpt. I tried EmSella, a breakthrough device for pelvic floor health.
Guests received a gift box containing a selection of their supplements and skincare products, all meant to heighten and enhance one’s mental, physical, and emotional well-being. One of these products was their Trio Cosmetic Cream, a facial moisturizer containing Leuphasyl, Argireline, and GHK-Cu. This powerful combination of peptides reverses facial wrinkling, boosts collagen, and lowers inflammation. As of writing this article, I’ve used this cream twice and my skin appears brighter and feels smooth like silk It’s very thick and very pricey at $155.14 per 30 ml bottle. With that in mind, I will be using this cream sparingly.
