40z and Waffles Brunch NBA All-Star Weekend 2016

After a favourable outcome in 2015, the 40z & Waffles Brunch followed the NBA All-Star Weekend 2016 to Toronto for another year of success! On Saturday, February 13th, the highly acclaimed brunch brought the West Coast style to one of Toronto’s premier venues, 2nd Floor Events, for a day filled with scrumptious food, delicious drinks, great music, and lots of fun!

Guests of the 6-hour Sunday Fun-day event indulged in mouth-watering brunch bites including shrimp & grits, breakfast burrito canapes, and the event’s famed chicken & waffles.

DJs Brenden Hill, DJ First Choice and Jaymkayem played live music sets while the attendees played beer pong and the athletes participated in PUMA’s indoor basketball shooting contest for a chance to win tickets to the All-Star game.

Official drink sponsor D’USSE enhanced all senses by serving cognac straight and in crafted cocktails, drizzling cognac syrup on the chicken waffles, and injecting cognac shots into Tipsy Treats cupcakes.

40z & Waffles is a brunch series that originated in Los Angeles. 40z & Waffles focuses on creating memorable experiences for its guests centering around delicious food & drinks, good music, and great vibes.

While the 40z & Waffles Brunch is a monthly reoccurring event in its home base LA, the brunch series has also traveled to other major cities like New York, Washington, D.C. and Toronto for annual and pop-up activations.
