EQUINOSH: A Tale of Two Counties was a culinary feast hosted by a trio of Toronto’s top chefs Jamie Kennedy, Miriam Streiman, and Mario Paz as part of Gladstone hotel’s Grow Op exhibition. The event celebrated the diversity of the east and west’s local agricultural landscapes: Prince Edward County and Simcoe and Grey-Bruce County, and expresses them through food and art in collaboration with designer Robert Cram and In the Weeds TV.
Each chef presented an artful dish prepared with excellent ingredients such as microgreens from Roy’L Acres Farm, 5-year-old aged Cheddar from Black River Cheese, white fish from Ontario Fisheries, lamb from Bushbeck Farm, rhubarb from Lennox Farms, and so on. The food were absolutely delicious and each dish proved the awesomeness of our local soil.
