Get Bent! Party Celebrates WorldPride at TIFF Lightbox

One special night during WorldPride Week in Toronto, was a fundraising event – “Get Bent!“, held on June 17 at the TIFF Lightbox in celebration of “Bent Lens: Pride on Screen”, a joint program of TIFF and Inside Out Toronto LGBT Film Festival illustrating Canadian and International LGBTQ stories through film.

Art installations were featured throughout Malaparte and the rain did not stop party goers from having fun.

Three Olive Vodka cocktails and Grolsch beer were accompanied by hors d’oeuvres prepared by O & B Catering. Body Part Clothing displayed its cool monocolor collection.

The proceeds from this event went to both TIFF and Inside Out‘s education and community programs.

There were a couple of fun drag queen acts but the highlight of the night was a performance by Yury Ruzhyev– creator of “Viva Cabaret”. His one man tribute to singing and dancing divas such as Liza, Judy, Tina, Brittney, Madonna and Cher had everyone enthralled!
