In 1972, British brand – Portmeirion launched a tableware collection called Botanic Garden with rich floral designs and green laurel leaf borders, the design soon became one of the most popular and iconic patterns in British ceramics, making them now the leading international tableware brand.
This spring, Portmeirion is updating their classic tableware collection with 2 fresh new lines! The Exotic Botanic Garden and the Botanic Garden Birds.
The Exotic Botanic Garden is inspired by the beauty and vibrancy of tropical plants, it is Portmeirion’s most colourful line with butterflies and stunning flower designs including Red Ginger, Hawaiian Hibiscus, Moth Orchid, White Water Lily. The teapots, serving platters and pitchers are some of the iconic pieces.

The Botanic Garden Birds is created for everyday life and it features six charming bird motifs including ruby-throated hummingbird, chickadee, and scarlet tanager, with the laurel leaf pattern border. Coffee mugs, casserole dishes and oatmeal bowls are some of the notable pieces.
