GUESS Spring 2016 Collection Preview

GUESS held a media preview for its Spring 2016 womenswear collection at the Spoke Club. GUESS‘ Spring looks are fun and sexy with a mix of fitted and loose looks. There was a lot of 70’s influence overall, with fringes, flared pants, tunics, flowing halter tops, one piece jumpsuits, peasant style tops and strapless tops.

In terms of patterns, there were lots of vibrant florals (in tops, dresses, pants, shoes and bags), animal prints and black and white stripes (in tops, skirts and bags). Florals and stripes were also mixed together. Colours were bold and bright with orange, blues, reds, and yellow.

There were biker jackets in black, orange, and white. Denim was seen in the jackets, sleeveless dresses and halter pantsuits and is typically in a lighter shade.

FE was excited about the Jeancare Collection which showed pants, dresses, halters, shorts and skirts all made from the brand’s new denim fabric called Slimtex, which has moisturizing properties.

It is called “nutrient enriched denim for touchably soft skin“. The fabric is available in light blue and in white.

And of course, there was great bling in the GUESS accessories: Watches that shimmered with bold faces, earrings with long gold strands and green stones, matching necklaces, multicoloured necklaces and bracelets, and shoes that came in both wedges and sexy heels.

The evening ended with chocolate covered cheesecake bites (who could resist that?).

The GUESS Spring 2016 Collection will be available globally in Feb 2016
