Lucian Matis’ BAILEYS Dress Debuts at the Fall/Winter 2013 Fashion Show
The Lucian Matis Fall/Winter 2013 Fashion Show was held at One King West on Friday, apart from the World Master Card Fashion Week. To celebrate the new partnership with the No. 1 selling cream liqueur BAILEYS Irish Cream, Matis opened his show with a cocktail reception featuring 3 signature Baileys cocktails. The one-of-a-kind piece that he created using the glass of BAILEYS Irish Cream bottles was also unveiled during the show.

The dress was inspired by the new Baileys bottle with a stylish silhouette and the iconic ‘Double B’ logo. It was made by a team of three who spent 125 hours working with pieces of glass from BAILEYS Irish Cream bottles, as well as other flat glass and multi-faceted beads.
“In all of my designs, I strive to make beautiful clothing that celebrates femininity and appeals to the confident, stylish woman,” said Lucian Matis. “The partnership with BAILEYS Irish Cream seemed like a natural fit, because these are qualities that the brand also celebrates in women.”
