殘編的松露之旅始終沒有停滯過,只是在台灣難找了一點。半年前我在台北大直找到維多麗亞大酒店的 La Festa義式餐廳的 「松露下午茶雙人套餐」,只是當時能分享的愛吃好友從缺一名 。上週好不容易找到志同道合的人再訪

不敢一人用餐的殘編為了「松露」,單槍匹馬殺過去,不但克服了障礙,吃到松露時立刻忘掉孤單的悲哀,還因為可多吃一份松露球沾沾自喜,在二十分鐘內將兩人份默默獨自吃完。
La FESTA 獲 Ospitalita` Italiana全球義大利官方組織餐廳之認證,是難得的正宗義大利餐廳。

My truffle journey has never stopped, it has just been slow and harder in Taiwan.
About half a year ago, I discovered the truffle afternoon tea set at Grand Victoria Hotel Taipei’s La Festa restaurant. The set was for two; sadly, I was missing a friend back then. Last week, I finally had a chance to visit La Festa again. With company (yay!)

Eating alone was one of my all-time fears that I couldn’t overcome, but for truffles, I did and went solo. The explosion of truffles in my mouth made my loner dinner an absolute pleasure, I was even happy that I got to finish two portions. I did it within 20 minutes.
La FESTA Italian Restaurant is certified by Ospitalita` Italiana, the official quality seal for Italian Restaurants across the world.
維多麗亞大飯店位於內湖大直地區捷運劍南路站旁,以十九世紀英國盛世維多莉亞王朝當元素,打造古典又時尚的建築風格。對面就看得到壯觀的美麗華摩天輪,讓人心曠神怡。聖誕季造訪一樓大廳櫃有掛滿玲琅滿目的聖誕吊飾的繽紛銀色聖誕樹,旁邊還有做成與維多莉亞飯店整體環境一模一樣的薑餅屋,包括對面的美麗華摩天輪。我們在靠近欣賞點心師傅的細膩手工時,薑餅餅乾的香味也撲鼻而來,讓人很想偷咬一口。

I have been thinking about the truffle balls at La Festa for half a year now, I had to go again.
The Grand Victoria Hotel is located in the Dazhi Miramar business area,
within a six-minute walk to Jiannan Road MRT Station. The hotel combines 19th century’s classic Victorian architecture of with contemporary elements of the 21st century.
Guests enjoy a scenic view of the famous Miramar Ferris Wheel just across the hotel, day and night. During the holiday season. Festive silver Christmas tree fills the hotel lobby will Christmas spirit. A gingerbread house reminiscent of the surroundings of the Grand Victoria Hotel also includes the Miramar Ferris wheel. When we take a closer look at the delicate craftsmanship of the pastry chef, the aromas of gingerbread makes it really hard not to steal a piece.
葡萄酒品,再往裡走是左側有窗、採光較好的用餐空間。我們點的是下午茶套餐( $560/人+10%服務費),點心用階梯狀的架子呈上,一人一套,每一款鹹甜點都吃得到。
先上的是套餐所附、每人一壺的 TWG 精品茶或LAVAZZA系列咖啡飲品,我的「快樂時光」綠茶是瓷壺裝的,友人的「晨光草原甘菊花茶」則是用較大的鐵壺呈上。

The doors of Grand Victoria Hotel’s La Festa Restaurant on the 2nd floor open to its bar with dim lights. A bar with red leather high table seats is on the right side upon entrance; on the left is a wall of wine selections. Passing the bar area further inside is a dining room with windows on the left, allowing brighter natural lighting for food photography.
We order the afternoon tea set ($560/person + 10% service), and the snacks were presented on an elegant staircase steel stand, each step is for one snack.
TWG premium tea or Lavazza coffee beverages that come with each set is served first. My “Happy Hour Green Tea” is served in a porcelain pot, and our friend’s “Budding Meadow Chamomile Tea” is served with a larger steel pot.

Unfortunately, La Festa‘s afternoon tea set is seasonal. This season’s truffles are scrambled with eggs and sandwiched in a croissant.

Although the croissants are not as squirting as the truffle balls served last time, the truffle scent is still there.
Every snack is beautifully placed on La Festa‘s afternoon tea stand, the presentation is colorful and exciting.
鮮嫩多汁的日本干貝與煙燻挪威鮭魚做巧妙結合,燻鮭魚片上擺滿有如珠寶般清澈的鮭魚卵,鮭魚親子搭配奶油乳酪跟脆皮餅皮盅一口咬下,盅裡裝滿了更多的鮭魚和干貝切丁生魚片,吃盡海洋獨有的迷人香味。

Fresh and juicy Japanese scallops are served with Norwegian smoked salmon. Smoked salmon slices are topped with jewel-like salmon roe. The salmon family is served with cream cheese in a crispy pastry cup filled with more diced salmon and scallop sashimi, similar to a mixed poke bowl.
頂級的松露,除了跟蛋一起翻炒外,還將一片松露放在炒蛋上點綴,一起夾進香濃的迷你可頌,再搭配清爽生菜,是口味多元、份量十足的好滋味。

Premium quality truffles are scrambled with eggs and sandwiched in a mini-croissant along with a piece of lettuce. The egg is garnished with another piece of truffle. Both the flavours and portion are satisfying.
培根蘑菇鹹塔是用義大利培根加入新鮮蘑菇佐莫札瑞拉起司,吃起來有酥皮葡式蛋塔的口感。

Bacon and mushroom pie is made with Italian bacon and fresh mushroom with Mozzarella cheese, the texture is similar to an egg tart, Portuguese style (flakier).
伯爵茶泡芙外層層次口感分明,內餡搭配鮮甜爽口的西洋梨,上面加一片巧克力片與巧克力做的小巧可愛花朵一片以及一顆藍莓點綴。

This is a puff pastry with a layered texture and a refreshing pear filling, topped with a piece of chocolate, a lovely chocolate flower, and a blueberry.
剛孵出酥脆的巧克力蛋殼塔皮中的是擬似蛋黃的一顆渾圓淺黃色百香果慕斯。再帶一點帶一點茉莉花的芬芳,與酸甜的百香果和巧克力一同譜出妙曼的午茶點心的午茶點心樂曲。

This hatching chocolate eggshell tart has a bright yellow granadilla mousse yolk in the middle
Jasmine fragrance along with tart granadilla fruit and sweet chocolate make a delightful afternoon tea treat.
這是一杯主廚精選的當季水果,有草莓、火龍果、奇異果、葡萄跟藍莓。

This is a cup of the chef’s mixed seasonal fresh fruit, including strawberry, dragon fruit, kiwi, grape, and blueberry.
聽說他們飯店更有榮獲「2018年台北米其林指南」的米其林餐盤推薦名單的N°168 PRIME 牛排館。殘編已將之列入口袋名單。
