The Apt by 800 Sq Ft
Imagine walking into a downtown Toronto condo and seeing a table or a piece of art that you like, and then moments later, walking out with your purchase.
That is now reality with 800SQFT.com, Toronto’s first shoppable apartment.
Curated by founder, Nike Onile, the site offers furnishings, art, accessories, and desserts all catering to the urban dweller.
Onile explains that she started the shop because “retail is expensive, especially downtown Toronto. Starting a shop from home made sense. This is a cool and fun way to shop“.
The apartment’s decor will change seasonally, keeping in tune with changing trends and featured artists from the Toronto area. Pieces chosen are based on what Onile describes as having “urban flair”.
Clothing by fashion designer Sebastian Guarin is presently available in black, white and fringes. Other items available include Woodlot candles and scents, pyramid-shaped chocolates (most delicious), decadent artistic cakes (lemon custard, red velvet, chocolate, vanilla.), exquisite shortbread cookies, I’m a Jerk spices.
Visit 800SQFT.com or schedule a private appointment to purchase.
