The rain did not stop Toronto’s finest tastemakers and influencers from attending the launch of the new Veuve Clicquot RICH champagne, a new concept dedicated to mixology, and a new way to enjoy Veuve Clicquot champagne.
VIP guests who were invited to the event set sail every 30 minutes down Muggs Island where the Island Yacht Club was transformed into a Veuve Clicquot playground.
Croquet, badminton, and gigantic Jengas were set up outdoors in Veuve Clicquot theme & colours; on the patio (and indoors), guests explored six ways to enjoy the new Veuve Clicquot RICH: with grapefruit zest, pineapple, cucumber, peppers, celery, or tea; all on the rocks.
The #Clicquology of RICH is to ‘en-RICH’ its taste with fresh, simple ingredients such as seasonal fruits and vegetables. A popular recipe among guests was to infuse the drink with strained tea leaves, which perfectly balanced out the sweetness of this new mixable bubbly.
When a traditional champagne house like Veuve Clicquot takes an innovative approach, you know it has to be good.
