Veuve Clicquot’s YellowWeek 2016 (May 1-May 8, 2016) kicks off in Toronto

On Thursday, April 28th, Veuve Clicquot held a private event on Mariposa’s Oriole to cruise around the Toronto Islands with music performance by special guest, Pandora Topp to launch the celebration of Yelloweek. It was truly an entertaining night of friends, fun, and excitement to start the week-long event! Gourmet food, desserts, music, dancing, and especially the champagne came together to deliver an unforgettable experience.

For the fourth consecutive year Veuve Cliquot, Canada’s most popular champagne, announces the launch of the exciting event Yelloweek! Going coast to coast, Yelloweek will take place simultaneously, in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, and British Columbia. From May 1 to 8 Canadians will get to experience the “Clicquot Journey” inspired by Madame Cliquot’s passion for embracing life, as well as the champagne house’s qualities and joie de vivre.

Yelloweek is inspired by the history of Veuve Clicquot and its founder Barbe-Nicole Clicquot Ponsardin. From triumphing over countless obstacles, Madame Clicquot became one of the most powerful business women in the 19th century, creating an internationally renowned brand.

The week-long celebration will feature a series of festive, gourmet events, and each province will showcase the “Destination Cliquot” theme that highlights the essence of each participating city for Yelloweek 2016. Yellow BRUNCH is a Sunday tradition that kicks the week off in gourmet style. Featuring a pairing menu specially designed for Veuve Clicquot at the finest restaurants each city has to offer for Yelloweek is YellowTable, an adventure for your taste buds. Yellow CONTEST is your chance to share the joy at home. Yellow BOUTIQUE will be around for the entire month of May located at Alton Gray in the Carrefour Laval for champagne lovers to snag some Clicquot-branded items.

From May 1st to May 8th, Veuve Cliquot champagne will be featured in Toronto’s restaurants, lounges, and bars for Yellow BY THE GLASS. Bubble fans can celebrate Yelloweek at Aria Ristorante, BRASSAII, Carisma Restaurant, East Thirty-Six, HY’s Steakhouse Cocktail Bar, La Societe, Nota Bene Restaurant, Portland Variety, Saks Foodhall by Pusateri’s, Sotto Sotto Ristorante, Thompson Toronto Hotel, and Weslodge Saloon. Last but not least, Yellow HOTEL offers guests a luxurious stay filled with surprises from Veuve Clicquot, in partnership with Le Germaine Hotel at Maple Leaf Square

It doesn’t have to stop there. To continue the celebration guests can dive into the world Clicquot to the end of the night! Yellow NIGHT will present Veuve Cliquot in Toronto’s top nightclubs captured with extravagant soirées fit for royalty. On Sunday, May 1st, come celebrate Yellow Night at Wildfire and on Wednesday, May 4th, at BRASSAII. Finally, the Yelloweek Closing Party will be featured in Candyland on Sunday, May 8th.
