On Thursday, Feb 7, The 2013 8th annual Book Lover’s Ball in support of The Toronto Public Library system brought together 600 book lovers and 60 celebrity authors at Fairmont Royal York, ‘literally’ one of the greatest events of the year.
Celebrity guest authors included Conrad Black (Flight of The Eagle), Gretchen Rubin (The Happiness Project, New York Times bestselling author), Andrew Pyper ( upcoming Universal Pictures adaptation The Demonologist), Neil Pasricha (The Journal of Awesome, number 1 international bestseller), Meg Tilly (A Taste of Heaven, actress of Bomb Girls), Jian Ghomeshi (1982, “Q” radio personality), Arlene Dickinson (Persuasion, Dragon’s Den entrepreneur), Amanda Lang ( The Power of Why, The Lang and O’Leary Exchange host)
The evening began with a cocktail reception & silent auction, followed by dinner with live auction & entertainment hosted by Cityline personality Tracy Moore. Each table was seated with a celebrity author.
