Modani Furniture Red Carpet Opening Event

Earlier this month Modani Furniture officially opened its newest showroom in Toronto. Nestled in the Castlefield Design District in North York, Modani hosted this opening party to get their name out and make their presence known as the place to shop for your designer furniture needs. Modani offers functional and stylish furniture and interior décor accessories at prices that are three times more affordable than other designer furniture stores. It’s the perfect place for those looking to add some unique and wallet-friendly statement pieces for their urban dwellings.

Friendly hosts and a full table of complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres immediately greeted guests who stepped inside Modani. The showroom featured different staged rooms, named after each of Modani’s eight collections, with furniture that were avant-garde with touches of design features from different interior design styles. The Maxfield Dresser in the Metro collection integrated a classic four-drawer storage style trunk with aluminum nails, white leather handles, and a polished steel industrial finish. The Neo-classical collection looked like a salon that was transported from the Versailles palace, updated with baroque style seating and oversized mirrors, and incorporated touches of pink accessories and framed city landscape art into the room. Although there are eight furniture collections in total, each of these collections emphasized beautiful and high quality furniture that has great value for the dollar and still has that wow factor.

Highlights of the evening included a red carpet where photographers took pictures of guests upon their arrival. There was also a raffle where lucky guests won gift certificates and accessories from Modani. During the short thank you speeches from Monica Diaz (Principal of Infinite Source Communications Group), Peter Brooks (Principal Designer of Bedford Designs), and Hamid Parsa (Top Choice Realty Inc. Brokerage), Monica announced that Modani will be featured in a televised segment on the show, Trending Now, on the lifestyle series “Canadian Better Living” in 2015. After the ribbon cutting ceremony with Marie C. Salmon (Modani’s Operations Manager) and staff, guests enjoyed music by DJ Eric Ling and professional musician Chico Pacheco who expertly infused infectious samba beats into Top 40 hits with a set of bongos and a trumpet.
