2015 Notable Awards Honour Millennials in 30 Industries

The 2015 Notable Awards show was held last Wednesday, February 17, at The Carlu, and honoured the most notable millennials from thirty different industries. These annual awards brought together the hottest and hippest in Toronto with all proceeds going to the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Notable.ca and CMHA have partnered up to create the Notable Millennial Mental Health Project, which is a series of workshops geared to helping millennials maintain a healthy life and work balance.

The evening was divided into two parts with the first portion being the awards ceremony & dinner hosted by Notable.ca‘s founder, Julian Brass and catered by Oliver & Bonacini. Guests were treated to entertainment provided by Maestro Fresh Wes and Jully Black (2015 winner for Best in Music).

The Notable Awards presenters were all noteworthy including:
Councillor Norm Kelly, Chef Susur Lee (Iron Chef America), Stephen LeDrew (CP24), Jorge Joao (Redken 5th Avenue, New York City), Brad Lamb (Brad J Lamb Realty Inc) and Steven Dixon (Facebook).

Other celebrities in attendance were Joe Mimran (Dragon’s Den; lifetime award recipient), Paul Mason (model and Fashion Santa), Maripier Morin (Hockey Wives; national winner), Chloe Wilde (E! Canada; regional winner), Christopher Bates (fashion designer; regional winner), Jamie Gutfreund (CP24; national winner), Brian Bulcke (CFL Player, speaker) and Patricia Jaggernauth (CP24).

The second part of the night – the after party continued the festivities with guests treated to appetizers from El Caballito (Mexican corn soup), Provisions TO (smoked gnocchi with potato crumble), Island oysters, Bangkok Garden (Sriracha chicken wings), El Furniture Warehouse (mac and cheese) and Squish Candy Bar. Beverages included Station Cold Brew coffee cocktails, Robert Mondavi Private Selection, Steam Whistle beer, Collingwood Whiskey Journey Forth and Pure Leaf tea cocktails. The music kept going until the night ended.
