Scotiabank’s BuskerBall Gala 2012 at St. Lawrence Market

Run, run! Run for your life!
As I walked down John street on Aug 21, I was chased by a stilt guy and two human sized seagulls who popped out of nowhere. I ran to the venue that I was heading towards to find refuge, but instead I was surrounded by more of them.
Then I realized it was Scotiabank holding their BuskerBall gala at St. Lawrence Market to raise money for Epilepsy Toronto.

The gala started with guests mingling outdoors with finger food & live performances, moving indoors with even more delicious food, wine, live & silent auction and a series of live entertainment.

Missed the event? Don’t worry, the fun night was just to kick off the Scotiabank BuskerFest .

Yes, the Scotiabank Buskerfest is returning for another outlandish year! Starting from tomorrow, August 23, to August 26, expect to see funky, wacky street performers of all shapes marching down from Jarvis to Yonge, Front to the Esplanade! This year the fest promises to bring us some of the most spectacular performances around the world! Including pogo-sticking, hula-hooping, fire-breathing, body-contorting, sword swallowing, etc.
