JessGo The Sound of Art Exhitition
We often wonder how artists make a living, but this incredible woman, Jessica Gorlicky, better known as JessGo, is a successful one who has created and sold over 1,000 pieces of artworks since year 2000.
Yesterday, JessGo invited the public to experience The Sound of Art at her 9,000 square foot studio which was transformed into Studio 54 from the age of Rock ’n’ Roll.
The exhibition celebrated rock legends of the 60s and 70s, with artworks of Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant, King of Rock Elvis Presley, and much more on display. Performers danced and posed to live music, LED laser lights shot across the room, guests enjoyed wine and passed hors d’oeuvres under a massive disco ball while appreciating the art.
JessGo’s work has been commissioned by Cirque Du Soleil, Google, Coca-Cola, Nordstrom Canada, Guerlain, TOMS Shoes, and more. Her performance before the show “Totem” at Cirque Du Soleil 2011 impressed over 350 VIP guests and she has been performing live painting across Canada ever since. We’ve seen her live paint at several events and galas and her talent and skills continue to wow us.
