John Varvatos X Harry Rosen Launch Featuring Performance by Finger Eleven

Fashion and rock and roll usually go hand in hand. And nowhere is it more evident than with American menswear designer John Varvatos, who was in Toronto recently to attend the opening party of the new John Varvatos Shop-in-Shops at the Harry Rosen Bloor Street Flagship store.

Varvatos, who won the CFDA Fashion Award for menswear designer of the year in 2001 and 2005, and was the GQ designer of the year in 2007, has always embraced rock music in his collections and his ad campaigns.

His style is hip, cool yet classic. These are clothes that any man can embrace.

Canadian rock band Finger Eleven did a surprise set, much to the delight of the guests.

Parts & Labour catered the snacks. Drinks served included Patron Tequila, Peroni beer, and Crystal Head Vodka.

Among the guests were MasterChef Canada judges Claudio Aprile (Origin restaurants) and Alvin Leung aka The Demon Chef ( R&D restaurant).
