Liquid Media Group held its Big Splash TIFF party at Toronto’s Windsor Arms Hotel during the Toronto International Film Festival 2021. The event capped a weekend of panels held by Liquid Media Group on the topics of interest to independent filmmakers: ” Stronger Together, Streaming in the New World“, “Financing for Independents” and “Harnessing the Power of Media for Social Good“. The panellists included Scilla Andreen of IndieFlix, Allan Christensen of Digital Cinema United Holding, Paul Jun of Filmocracy, Jon Fitzgerald of iGems.tv and Keegan McColl of Projektor. It was fascinating to hear how these companies, under the Liquid Media Group umbrella, all offer assistance to filmmakers who seek an alternative way of reaching audiences, while keeping their IP rights ( Intellectual property rights).
