The Pantages Hotel Toronto, known for its urban chic style, hosted a Wedding Open House last week attended by brides-to-be and wedding planners. During the event, the Pantages provided a tour of its venue and featured a multitude of event vendors.
We were quite impressed with the standard room, which was actually a suite, completed with a full size fridge, a washer/dryer, and a living area, definitely way beyond your typical Toronto hotel room. The bridal suites and honeymoon suites were huge and offered lots of elements of romance.
The Shizen Spa was delightful, offering a multitude of spa treatments. The highlight of the spa was its rainforest area with a huge Jacuzzi. We were tempted to stay there for hours.
There are various areas of the hotel suitable for weddings. The Martini Bar offers a hip meeting area for cocktails. There are three large ballrooms that are used for weddings and several smaller drama rooms available as well.
We sampled delicious catering from Pantages including sweet potato poutine, lamb with mint, bacon wrapped figs and sliders.
And of course there were many wedding vendors showcasing their products and services. Among them were: Versai Salon & Spa, Katherine Torres (makeup/hair), Amie Dicarlo (fashion stylist), Cultural Weddings, Jay B. Sese (caricature artist), MN Fotografy, Powerpack Images, Perpetual Rhythms (DJ), Nth Degree DJ Services, Settings Design Stylist, Picture Perfect Occasions, Nisha Chandra Events, Oh My Gosh Events, Grace Lewicki Events, Imprint Wedding Design, She’s so Beautiful Bridal Boutique, Creative Cakes, Piece of Cake by Shivani, Bite Bar and Artemis Bridal Jewellery.
The Pantages Hotel (by Skyline Hotels and Resorts) is definitely worth considering when planning a wedding or a special event. For more information about the Pantages Hotel Toronto and its wedding venue, please visit: www.pantageshotel.com
