Toronto is going “country” crazy with the new Rock N Horse Saloon located at 250 Adelaide St. W.. The opening, hosted by CMT’s Paul McGuire (of Chevrolet Top 20 Countdown), was a rootin’ tootin’ extravaganza. We were entertained by great country tunes, Spurlesque dancers’ line dancing (completed in their daisy duke shorts), and mechanical bull riders. The menu featured buffalo chicken sliders, pulled pork sliders, hickory smoked brisket, jalapeño bacon corn bread, and cowboy beans. Of course, the massive margaritas were delicious, but the biggest hit of the night was the “The Bulldog” drink which is a one of a kind experience. Mini cupcakes from Mellycakes were an added treat. There was even a classic Elvis pinball machine to play! A few of the Toronto Argonaut players attended and they clearly were becoming cowboys for the evening.
