Shake the Dust Documentary VIP Reception & TIFF After Party

On Friday, September 5, 2014 the Eveleigh (Bootsy Bellows Pop-up) hosted the VIP reception for documentary “Shake the Dust”, produced by legendary American rapper Nas, Nasir Jones.

The party was sponsored by WeDIFR (we do it for real) and produced by John Terzian of The h.wood Group.

TIFF‘s film “Shake the Dust”, from journalist Adam Sjoberg, focuses on young break-dancers and the hip hop fans while travelling across the world such as Yemen, Cambodia and Uganda. The story shows B-boys and music artists in these struggling communities as they find their own voice and expression.

Nas, who also provided the music score for the film, was on hand to partake in the festivities as well as Canadian artist Kardinal Offishall and excited guests.
