Delysees Bakery Launches High-End, Mini Desserts…with GOLD
Delysees Authentic French Bakery has been tantalizing Toronto palates since 2013 with its high-end and outstanding French pastries, 35 flavours of macarons, individual desserts, mini gourmet sandwiches, and coffees. Owner/creative director of Delysées, Fred Naggar, is a graduate of George Brown College in Culinary Arts/Baking. Parisian born and Toronto raised Naggar, who had previously been involved in the fashion industry for several years, decided to make his dream a reality and created Delysées.
At the recent Summer Rendezvous event, there was much to celebrate: the launch of Delysées Bakery‘s new mini collection of bite-sized éclairs, tarts, cakes and cheesecakes; and the collaboration with The Grange Winery of Prince Edward County to offer limited edition infused macarons, eclairs, and other pastries all featuring BRUT Lot 4. BRUT LOT 4 is an elegant sparkling wine which uses traditional method and combines pinot noir and chardonnay grapes to create its delicate flavour.
We sampled a dizzying amount of fabulous sweets and varieties of flavours. Mini choux (double dark chocolate, intense Madagascar vanilla, and sweet caramel), mini eclairs (milk chocolate praline, coconut, vanilla champagne, gold gianduja, fresh lemon cream with Italian meringue, jasmine yuzu, and “Sloan” raspberry cream), mousse cups (dark chocolate strawberry, dark chocolate raspberry, dark chocolate vanilla brûlée and 64% dark chocolate), rochers (dark chocolate truffle and milk chocolate praline), mini cheesecakes ( blackberry, strawberry and sweet caramel), verrines (trio chocolate Baileys, Grand Marnier tuxedo, spiked litchi strawberry and honey whiskey heaven), and tarts (pure roasted pistachio, fresh lemon with Italian meringue, 64% dark chocolate salted caramel and raspberry). Many of them involved gold leaves. Some of the other delectable treats we tasted were the flourless dark chocolate dome, hazelnut praline crunch, and of course, The Grange of Prince Edward special edition macarons.
All of this is made fresh daily at Delysées’ state-of-the-art kitchen, making this King Street West bakery a must for any sweet lover.

The bakery recently partnered up with Giftagram to launch their new delivery program on Macarons and Donut Macarons orders in Canada. All orders are made on-demand and are freshly be baked within an hour of delivery. Oh, and did we mention the delivery is free with an order value of over $50?
