ICFF Opening Party 2019 on Thursday, June 13th
What do you get when you pair the Italian Contemporary Film Festival (ICFF) Opening Party and Toronto Raptors Game Six NBA Championship?
You get an “Italian” Jurassic Park!!
The Italian Contemporary Film Festival Opening Party kicked off its dazzling festival on Thursday, June 13th at Ricarda’s Restaurant with an extravaganza of decadent food, glamorous guests, live entertainment and yes an “Italian” Jurassic Park!!!

The sold-out screening of Dolceroma at the TIFF Bell Lightbox opened this year’s festival for ICFF.

The film’s producer and lead actor Luca Barbareschi attended alongside with Italian actress Virginia Raffaele.
After the movie, the arriving guests at Ricarda’s Restaurant were treated to an all-inclusive event that featured open bars flowing with exquisite cocktails, wines and bubbly Prosecco.

Guests were treated to food stations with exquisite Italian dishes and a fabulous array of hors d’ oeuvres. The star of the food stations had to be the Parmigiano Reggiano cheese wheels filled with risotto and the prosciutto carving station where each delicate slice of prosciutto was served with warm, soft Italian bread. There were also delicious and abundant arrangements of fine cheeses and desserts.
This was a fantastic event for fans of Italian cinema to gather, to connect and celebrate together and enjoy Roman splendor and culture.

The ultimate highlight of the evening was watching on a jumbo screen the Toronto Raptors glorious defeat over the Warriors to win the NBA Championship for the first time in franchise history! It was a celebration all over again, and guests were delirious with joy!!
It was an evening to remember, filled with great food, film, and celebration!!!!
