It may not be the biggest Sofitel we’ve stayed at, but its location is definitely the best for a shopaholic, or a tourist.

Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe is located near Arc de Triomphe and Paris‘s famous Champs Elysées Boulevard  (two attractions checked off your list), where all the luxury shops, theatres, and nice cafés are.

The Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe staff provided great service, and the mixologist served exquisite cocktails made with fresh ingredients. Laundry service was fast and ready on the same or next day.

Something about Sofitel‘s MyBed, or the bedding, or the combination of the two completely cured my insomnia. I cannot remember the last time I slept for over 10 hours.

Our Luxury Room featured a king size bed, flat-screen LED TV with multi-room speakers and fast, complimentary WIFI. The Hermès toiletries and the Nespresso machine were a plus.

What’s Around Sofitel:

Arc de Triomphe

Arc de Triomphe, one of the must-see attractions in Paris is just minutes away on foot. Arc de Triomphe honours those who fought in the Napoleonic Wars by engraving the names of all French generals and wars fought on its inner and outer surfaces.

Champs Elysées

Champs Elysées, a street lined with luxury brands, is located 2 blocks away from Sofitel Paris Arc de TriompheRoue de Paris (The Big Wheel), Paris‘s giant transportable ferris wheel that has travelled across Europe (and is planning to go to the US and Asia in the future), was down the other end of the street while we were there.

You will also find the famed French macarons from Ladurée on Champs Elysées Avenue.
