GAP on Bloor held a party with Shedoesthecity on May 15, 2012 to celebrate their ” Be Your Own T ” new digital campaign. The campaign collaborated with Toronto‘s popular blogs and bloggers to form a Twitter contest. Guests were encouraged to tweet their favourite look and submit their picture for a chance to win a Gap T pack and/or a Bobbin Bicycle.
The party featured live DJ, wine, food by Food Dudes, and a 25% discount on purchases. Guests could also get their hair braided in the store.

The Be Your Own T campaign aims for customers to express their individuality through T-shirts. They are promoting through 2 digital ways: The T-It-Yourself (T.I.Y.) and Styld.by.
The T.I.Y. (in collaboration with Threadless) shows how to upcycle T- shirts into art and accessories. The Styld.by collaborates with blogs to share different ways of wearing the new GAP T-shirts.
