Cabana Pool Bar Media Grand Opening

It was a day of ultimate relaxation at Cabana Pool Bar’s Media Grand Opening.
Joining Toronto Life & Metro News, we sailed away with Gone Sailing Adventures from the Harbour Square across Lake Ontario, with a backdrop of Toronto’s beautiful city skyline, to Cabana Pool Bar where the sexy and friendly staff greeted us each with a welcome drink.

We were guided to our VIP booth beside the deluxe salt-water pool where the servers (or should I say models?) took our orders from their cocktail specials menu. The “TOjito”- a mojito with a subtle twist of maple syrup, was the popular one among all; in my case, the Spicy Bloody Caesar had a real nice kick to wake me up from the crazy night before.

Oliver & Bonacini’s Chef Jamie Meireles prepared a special tasting menu for us. The chopped kale & goat cheese salad was absolutely refreshing and the applewood-smoked bacon blended perfectly with fried eggs in a croissant.

After Hard Candy Fitness’ amazing performance, we had a private tour of Cabana Pool Bar’s new spaces and features including a raised 133 ft wide VIP mezzanine designed for private corporate events with 2 mini pools overlooking Toronto Skyline, a huge 12ft x 12 ft LED digital outdoor screen, completely renovated washrooms, a new 100ft pool side bar, and coffee & fresh juice stations. The premium pool has upgraded to salt water pool and each booth has phone charging stations and complimentary wifi, perfect for social media freaks like us.

With a drink in hand we spent the rest of the afternoon watching the World Cup on their new outdoor 12 x 12ft LED screen.
