Canadian Screen Awards Broadcast Gala Red Carpet Recap

Just like the Golden Globes, the first ever Canadian Screen Awards combines the Gemini and Genie awards to recognize the excellence in television & film.
Last night was the biggest night of the 5-day event, the Broadcast Gala held at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts. The night opened with a star-studded red carpet show followed by the awards ceremony. Fans had the chance to register online to watch the awards show live.

On the red carpet we spotted Mary Zilba (Real Housewives of Vancouver) wearing Pavoni gown, Arlene Dickinson (Dragons’ Den) wearing Eli Saab gown with Mark Lash jewelry, Leah Gibson (Arctic Air) wearing BCBG, Cheryl Hickey wearing Ines DiSanto custom-made meternity dress, Gabrielle Miller (Moving Day) wearing Twenty Cluny gown, and Kristin Kreuk (Beauty and the Beast) wearing Arthur Mendonça jumpsuit with Niki & Lola jewelry.
