Hillcrest Mall celebrates its 40th Anniversary with Exciting Future Plans
On August 7, Hillcrest Mall celebrated its 40th Anniversary with a celebratory event with VIP shoppers, retailers, and politicians in attendance.
Photographs from the past were on display showing Hillcrest Mall’s historical milestones since its opening in 1974. Schematic drawings were also unveiled to show some of Hillcrest Mall‘s exciting future plans.
General Manager Brian Marentette promised that Hudson’s Bay Fashion Store’s new storefront facing Yonge will look “absolutely fantastic” after its 50,000 sq. ft expansion.
From an era of farmlands till present, Hillcrest Mall has come a long way since its inception and will continue to evolve in the future. We cannot wait to see what Hillcrest Mall has to offer for the next 40 years to come!
Hillcrest Mall is located at 9350 Yonge Street (corner of Yonge Street and Carrville Road), Richmond Hill. It is also open on statutory holidays, including Labour Day, from 11am-6pm.
