Media Profile’s Annual Holiday Party #MPParty 2015 – The Burroughes Building
Every year around this time, Media Profile, Canada’s largest and ever-expanding independent Public Relations firm throws an epic party to celebrate its anniversary and the holidays. This year’s event, which took place last weekend at the hip and historic Burroughes Building, marked Media Profile’s 30 years of success. Over hundreds of clients and friends came out to support, because they knew they were going to have a great time.

Old records hung down the ceiling and old tunes were spun by DJ Carl Allen, transporting us back to the eighties, the era of the firm’s birth.
Toben Food by Design never disappoints with its scrumptious hors d’oeuvres and this night was no exception.
Cream cheese pierogi, grilled shrimp, lobster wonton, and white fish pogo were washed down with featured concoctions, poured in a glass on the mixologist’s forehead! The cosmopolitan was prepared with Finland Vodka, and Media Profile’s signature drink by popular demand, The Maverick, was a mixture of Collingwood Whiskey, amaretto, bitters, lemon juice and maple syrup.
The Stella Artois girls served beer to go with heavier bites like mini chicken waffles, pizza pockets, and fries.
In the gallery room, Ninutik artfully wrapped its pure Ontario maple syrup reduction, cooled and hardened on fresh snow, around four kinds of local artisan cheeses. SASSeh! The treats beautifully complemented the four Jack Daniel’s Whiskeys served across the booth: Tennessee Honey, Gentleman Jack, Single Barrel, and Old No.07.
Although there was a photo booth with fun props to capture memories of the night, all cell phones were taken out to snap pictures and shoot video clips when Media Profile‘s founder Patrick Gossage surprised us with an old school rap dedicated to the company.
After a champagne fountain toast, guests scribbled their bests wishes to Media Profile on a wall-sized birthday card.
Media Profile has recently welcomed two new members to its family and has promoted eight existing employees. The firm believes in promoting from within the company with the lowest employee turnover in the industry and by following this system, Media Profile creates a stronger team and gains more clients’ trust.
Among the notable guests who attended this year’s Media Profile Party were Dragons’ Den’s Dianne Buckner and the CTV team, including the legendary Lloyd Robertson, Natalie Johnson, Colin D’Mello, and Janice Golding.
