New Luxury Coat Collection FREED Launches for Fall/Winter 2014
Freed & Freed International Launches New Private Label FREED for Fall/Winter 2014
Clothing manufacturer Freed & Freed International, based out of Winnipeg Manitoba, has been in business for over ninety years and has built their reputation on producing high quality outerwear for the Canadian military including the iconic Mounties’ uniform as well as the parkas Canadian athletes wore at the Sochi Olympic Games.
For the first time, under the direction of Marissa Freed, they are introducing a private label luxury coat collection, FREED. Each piece is made of authentic English tweed and is lined with a waterproof and breathable membrane trimmed in real leather and fur.
Named after Canadian cities, the styles are classic with a twist. The “Torontonian” is a mid length English tweed with a ¾ inch sleeve and removable fur trimmed hood. As with all their coats, this one also has a detachable down vest. Scheduled to hit stores such as Holt Renfrew, Pink Tartan, Honey, Got Style, Hollywood Boutique, Andrew’s and Saffron Road the first week of September, this coat collection is for someone seeking a very warm, long lasting, well made and fashionable alternative to the “puffy” Michelin man jacket!
