Hotel Monaco by Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is located in the heart of Baltimore’s mid-town business district. We enjoyed our stay in the building that was renovated from the former Baltimore & Ohio Railroad headquarters after it was destroyed by the Great Baltimore Fire of 1904. It retains its historical Beaux-Arts architecture style with a contemporary twist.
Our room was the Mediterranean Suite featuring a private bedroom with a king-size bed, a Fuji spa tub, and a separate living room with shower. The hotel treated us with a welcoming fruit platter, a bottle of red wine, and a $10 voucher for the mini bar upon arrival.
The best part of the stay was the ‘hosted evening wine hour’ from 5pm-6pm daily at the lobby where we were able to mix and mingle with other guests as they served complimentary wines and apple ciders.
Kimpton Hotels also supports Dress for Success. By booking with the ‘DFS’ rate code, guests will receive a 15% discount and a $10 will be donated to Dress for Success to help women with their careers.
